Mary Hanna Depew was born on March 1, 1967, and went to join her beloved husband, Lonnie Ray Williams, on March 26, 2022. A native of Johnson City, Tennessee, who appreciated the beauty of her hometown, often commenting how she couldn’t imagine living anywhere she wasn’t surrounded by the beauty of the mountains. She was the daughter of locals Vernon and Greta Depew and spent her life in service to her family and community. She was always willing to open her heart and home to friends in need. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, aunt, and sister. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and dear friends Teresa Horist, Diane Brown, and James Alexander Hill. She leaves to cherish her memory and life, her daughter Dena Williams; sister, Roseanna Peterson; pet companion, Chiana; her many nieces, nephews, god-children, and her kindest friends, Linda Hill, Charles D.
